“To build an economy that enables humans and our planet to thrive in balance”
We believe that our much-needed transition to a more sustainable way of life, and to avoid human and planetary collapse, can only be achieved through systemic changes and a new era of competitive collaboration.
We visualise a world working together to implement circular systems that exceed our historic linear mentality and which deliver financial, social and environmental benefit to all.
Environment – To minimise the operational impact on the environment by making better use of the earth’s resources
People – To achieve a more sustainable rate of consumption by influencing human behaviour
Community – To benefit communities by solving problems locally
Innovation – To unlock investable opportunities in circular business models by embracing the use of technology
Collaboration – To accelerate the pace of systemic change by enabling competitive collaboration
Our approach is aligned with…
United Nations Sustainable Development Goals
The UN Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) are intended to stimulate universal response to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity by 2030. The 17 UN SDG’s were adopted by UN member states in 2015 as part of the “2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development”. They are integrated to recognise that progress towards one SDG will affect outcomes in other areas and that development must balance social, economic and environmental sustainability.
co-cre8 will always hold the environment at the centre of our business ethos and will continue to develop our strategies and practices in line with the UN’s 17 goals, with a strong focus on Goal 12; Responsible Consumption and Production. The SDG’s represent an urgent call to action for all countries and we strive to contribute to the systemic changes in which the world can do more, and better, with less.
UK Net Zero 2050 Commitment
In 2019, the UK became the first major economy to pass laws to end it’s contribution to global warming by 2050. The targets strive to achieve complete carbon neutrality for the UK by requiring any emissions to be balanced by schemes to offset an equivalent amount of greenhouse gases from the atmosphere.
As a proud British company, with all products manufactured in the UK, we know how important it is now, more than ever, to play our part in ensuring that no further irreversible damage is done to our eco systems. We strongly support the UK’s net zero 2050 target and we make it our mission to create solutions that will contribute to this objective.
